It’s Networking Time again!

The San Diego Chapter of the Elite SDVOB Network would like to invite you to our next meeting on March 7, 2017.  We meet at the Veterans Museum on 2115 Park Blvd., across from Balboa Park.  Meeting time is from 9AM – 10:30 AM.

Our mission statement is Helping Other “Vets” Help Themselves.  We assist Service Disabled Veterans with networking and opening doors to new business with government and corporate America.  Come and join us and see what’s new and what is on-going for service disabled veterans so far in 2017.  For instance, did you know that Service Disabled Businesses do not have to pay city business taxes in California.

Our March speaker will be the local representative from Caltrans to our local SANDAG organization, Michelle Gongora.  Given all the rain that we have had and all the damage caused by it, there is a definite need for people to help work on the infrastructure repairs.

In addition, on the day following our meeting at the same location from 9AM until 11AM, Swinerton Construction is having a Terminal 2 Parking Plaza – Veteran Partnering Event.  Please see the attached announcement.  We will be there as an organization with a table.

And NO, we are not just about construction.  We have been contacted by SDG&E, to find someone in the Health and Wellness arena to provide on-site fitness classes at various locations for both Sempra and SDG&E.

Come to the meeting and introduce yourself and your company.  There may be an opportunity waiting for you.  This is what networking is all about!

The Elite SDVOB Network is a 501(c)(19) nonprofit organization.  Our sponsors include utilities, financial, pharmaceutical, insurance, federal, state, and local government organizations, as well as many from the private sector.
