It’s Networking Time again!

The San Diego Chapter of the Elite SDVOB Network would like to invite you to our next meeting on Tuesday morning, August 1, 2017.  We meet at the Veterans Museum on 2115 Park Blvd., across from Balboa Park.  Meeting time is from 9 AM – 10:30 AM.

Our mission statement is Helping Other “Vets” Help Themselves.  We assist Service Disabled Veterans with networking and opening doors to new business with government and corporate America.  Come and join us and see what’s new and what is on-going for service disabled veterans so far in 2017.

Many people feel they have to go far afield to land profitable business contracts.  This is not the case.  We will have two speakers from the City of San Diego at our August meeting.

  1. Damian Singleton, SLBE Program Certification Specialist, responsible for administering the City of San Diego’s Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) Program.

  1. John Mendivil, a Consultant Services Coordinator, advertises all Architecture & Engineering RFPs for the City of San Diego. He also coordinates the City, County, and Port of San Diego Consultant Rotation List.

The City of San Diego deals with a lot more than just construction.

Come to the meeting and learn how they can help you navigate the maze and land these government contracts.

Don’t forget the Navy Gold Coast-San Diego event being held in town on August 22-23, 2017.  This is a great opportunity to meet with prime contractors for military opportunities.  www.ndia-sd.org

Come to the meeting and introduce yourself and your company.  There may be another company there that would like to partner with you on one of these contracts.  This is what networking is all about!

The Elite SDVOB Network is a 501(c)(19) nonprofit organization.  Our sponsors include utilities, financial, pharmaceutical, insurance, federal, state, and local government organizations, as well as many from the private sector.
